Climate change is revolutionizing the food culture in Greenland

It goes without saying that rising temperatures are posing a number of challenges for the entire planet. For Greenlanders, however, the increase in average summer temperatures has resulted in an unexpected abundance and variety of homegrown food.  Chefs in the capital, Nuuk, as well as in other Greenland communities, are taking advantage of the phenomenon by including dishes made with native foods on their menus. The Arctic Cuisine movement could well enjoy the same success as the increasingly popular New Nordic Cuisine.
