Designer shelter for hikers in the far north

Located just south of the Arctic Circle and a stone's throw from the oldest glacier in Norway, the Rabot Tourist Cabin is only accessible by foot or on skis. This popular hiking region has a dry climate, but is known for volatile weather. The cabin, which is owned by the Norwegian Trekking Association, is constructed of local materials and is designed to withstand the area's often violent winds and cold temperatures. This stylish refuge can comfortably accommodate 30 hikers at a time.
