Finland's Rovaniemi Airport invests in customer experience

The third-largest airport in Finland is undergoing major renovations to streamline the flow of passengers through Security and Customs, and to upgrade customer services. The facility's furniture, decor and restaurants are being redesigned with the Arctic Circle in mind, so that visitors can begin to experience the magic of Lapland as soon as they arrive. The restaurant section will soon include reindeer meatballs and burgers on their menus and the shops have been selected jointly with the Santa Claus Foundation. Finavia, the company that manages the airport, expects the renovations to be finished in November, just in time for the winter season.
