Former Amazing Race contestants invited to Yukon

Tourism Yukon and the Wilderness Tourism Association of Yukon have partnered to bring two contestants from The Amazing Race Canada back to Yukon, where they were eliminated from the reality television competition during the episode shot there in September 2014. The two have been invited to relive some of their experiences and challenge themselves in the backcountry. According to Yukon's Minister of Tourism and Culture, the Amazing Race Canada was an excellent opportunity to showcase Yukon, which is the perfect backdrop for the epic adventures and endurance challenges featured in the show. Having the contestants return to the territory is a unique way of strengthening Yukon's image. The 2014 episode drew 3.5 million viewers. Video from the duo's trip will be shared on social media.
