Human search engines in Iceland: the second wave

The tourism campaign showcasing Iceland residents as the online source of information for international travelers is now in its second phase. Inspired by social media and e-tourism, the initiative began with the concept of "human search engines." Called Gudmundur, these regional representatives can now take visitors on a personal expedition to their area of choice and help them enjoy their favorite activities. For example, one of them may suggest a trip to the hot springs at Reykjanes, followed by a special dinner and a photo session at the world-famous Blue Lagoon.
